“Godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.” - 1 Timothy 4:8
VAOG believes that the godly lifestyle that Scripture promotes is valuable not only for eternal life, but for the life we now live. Godliness adds value to our lives in the here and now, in our present day situations and circumstances. A church that seeks to cultivate and share such good news will possess the following Core Values:

The Burden of Christ is to seek and to save that which is lost. His compassion is for the souls of mankind. He used many word pictures to help us understand His mission (Light of the world, fishers of men, salt of the earth, lost sheep. etc.). VAOG has determined to be strategic in our approach to evangelism. It begins here at home and reaches all around the world.
"Love one another as I have loved you" John 13:34-35
The Body of Christ is marked by its relationships. The New Testament identifies the characteristics of how to relate to "one another". Love, honor, sharing, acceptance, kindness, compassion, forgiveness, submission, encouragement, humility, and fellowship are all integral parts of becoming a family of believers.
The Business of Christ reminds us that God owns it all. He has entrusted to us many things: time, talents, and treasures. Everything I have actually belongs to God. I am to use it in a way that honors Him. I want to be a good steward to maintain the trust God has placed in me with His possessions.
